Thames Water is on a recruitment drive to fill more than 300 vacancies in a bid to become Britain’s top-performing water company.
The country’s biggest water firm is looking to recruit a wide range of staff, from technicians out in the field to lab scientists, plus a range of high profile head office jobs.
“We’re on the lookout for talented people in the Reading area who are interested in helping us achieve our goal of becoming the best water company in the country,” said Thames Water HR director Janet Burr.
“We’re focusing like never before on delivering brilliant services and providing our customers with a great experience, and are in the process of transforming our business to achieve this.
“Our service scores are improving all the time, but we need the best people to continue to get results.”
Giant posters featuring staff working in a variety of professions are currently placed all across Reading railway station, further highlighting to commuters that new and rewarding opportunities may be closer to home.
